These terms apply when you use this website or buy anything from Motor Tic Mastery ("we", "us"), operated by Darren John Smith.
If you do not agree, do not use the site or buy.

What we offer
Motor Tic Mastery is education and coaching for people with tics or Tourette's, and for parents of children with tics. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Nothing here replaces your doctor.
Current offerings include:
- The MTM Method โ self-paced video program for adults
- The MTM Family Method โ self-paced video program for parents and their child, with an optional add-on of private Zoom sessions
- A 3-month 1-on-1 Zoom program for adults
- Paid one-off Zoom sessions
- Consultations booked through the site forms, when offered
What you buy, and the price, is the checkout page you pay on. Access is for you (or your household, for the Family Method). Do not share logins or copy the videos.
We can refuse or end access if these terms are broken.
Results
People get different results. Doing the work matters. We do not promise you will become tic-free, earn money, or get a specific medical outcome.
Refunds
Ask questions before you buy. Use the contact form or the parent / adult enquiry forms.
Unless a line below says otherwise, purchases are final once access is given or a paid session has started.
MTM Method (adult video)
A 7-day free trial applies where checkout shows one. Cancel in your account during the trial and you are not charged.
After payment: 90-day money-back if you did the exercises and assignments in the program and you are not satisfied. Write via the contact form within 90 days of purchase and show that work. If you did not do the work, this guarantee does not apply.
MTM Family Method (video, and video + sessions)
A 3-day free trial applies where checkout shows one. You get the first two modules. Cancel in your account within 3 days and you are not charged.
After that, the video program is not refundable. Lifetime access is delivery of the product.
If you also bought private sessions, those follow the coaching rules below. Once any paid session has happened, that coaching portion is not refundable.
3-month 1-on-1 Zoom program
Not refundable once the first paid session has happened. Payment plans are a commitment to the full price, not a month-to-month subscription. Missed payments can pause access; they do not cancel what you owe.
Sessions in a package must be used within 6 months of purchase, unless we agree something else in writing. Unused sessions after that lapse. They are not refunded and do not carry forward.
One-off paid Zoom sessions
Not refundable once booked and paid. To reschedule, give at least 24 hours' notice. Later than that, or a no-show, and the session is used.
Live group programs (if we run one)
Not refundable once the program has started. Missed calls are not refunded.
Exceptions
Genuine emergencies can be asked about. We look at those one by one. A yes once is not a rule for next time.
Sessions
Give 24 hours' notice to move a Zoom session. Less than that, or missing it, uses the session.
We may change a time if we have to. We will find another slot.
Your account
Keep your login to yourself. You are responsible for what happens on your account.
If you send us comments or ideas, we can use them without paying you.
The site
We try to keep the site accurate. We do not promise it is error-free or always up. Payment, video hosting, and booking tools are run by other companies (including Kajabi, Stripe, PayPal, and Calendly). Their terms cover their part.
Content on this site is ours. Do not copy or republish it.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for results you hoped for and did not get. Nothing here limits liability that UK law does not let us limit (including death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).
Changes
We can update this page. The date at the top is the current version. New purchases follow the version in force when you pay.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
